Omni Arena Earned $130K in 6 Months

In December 2022, we installed Omni Arena at MB2 Raceway in Santa Clarita, CA, one of several MB2-branded go-karting venues operated by Trifecta Management Group.

Since its install, MB2’s Omni Arena has hosted over 8,700 plays at $15 per ticket, generating over $130K in revenues in just 6 months.

Key to Omni Arena’s success at MB2 is its high repeat play rate. 38 players have already played three times or more, and the venue’s top player has already played 16 times.

Esports Contests Drive Repeat Play

In addition to Omni Arena’s built-in weekly and monthly prize contests featuring a $100K annual price pool, MB2 also organized its own local three-month-long competition in which participants won cash and game card prizes. As well as driving high repeat play, this esports contest was an excellent marketing tool to promote the venue on social media.

MB2 even used Omni Arena’s website plugin to add the live contest leaderboard to its website, allowing players to monitor their standings in real time.

Omni Arena players are incentivized to enter their email addresses to receive a gameplay video after the game. At MB2, 53% of players have registered their email addresses, providing Trifecta with a targeted list of thousands of email contacts. These contacts also receive a monthly email from Virtuix announcing the national esports contests, prizes, and winners.

In addition to generating high repeat play and excitement on social media, Omni Arena also drives guests to the venue that would otherwise not come. In a survey filled out by over 1,250 Omni Arena players at MB2, 35% responded that they came to the venue specifically for Omni Arena.
