1. Overview

Virtuix product owners may purchase an optional Omni One Extended Warranty, providing 36 months of comprehensive protection for indoor use of a new Omni One virtual reality treadmill (“Product” or “Products”) sold directly by Virtuix. This warranty replaces the standard 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, providing full coverage under the terms described herein.

The Extended Warranty covers both personal and commercial use, except for use in entertainment venues where gaming sessions are sold to the public.

During the warranty period, the covered components of the Products are protected from manufacturing defects and accidental damage under normal use. Certain exclusions apply, as outlined below.

2. Coverage

The Extended Warranty applies for the following components of the Products:

• Omni One treadmill components, including the plastic base and vest
• Head-mounted display, hand controllers, and foot trackers
• Exclusions for consumable parts: batteries, wrist straps, face cushions, headbands, earphone caps, lens spacers, mounting kits, mounting pads, and protective coatings expected to wear over time

The Extended Warranty provides protection against the following:

• Mechanical and electrical breakdowns
• Power surge failures
• Accidental damage from drops, spills, tip-overs, or handling

3. Exclusions

The Omni One Extended Warranty does not cover:

• Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents, chips, rust, paint peeling) not affecting functionality
• General hardware maintenance or cleaning
• Damage caused by natural disasters, fire, flood, wind, lightning, freezing, or other acts of God
• Theft, vandalism, or missing components
• Damage resulting from unauthorized use, modifications, third-party hardware failures, or failure to follow Virtuix’s terms of sale
• Outdoor use, exposure to liquids, sunlight, dampness, extreme temperature or rapid environmental changes, corrosion, or UV/strong light
• Software or internet connectivity (except as required by law); uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed
• Damage or injury resulting from moving, repair, or attempted repair by anyone other than a Virtuix-authorized technician
• Use of the Products for commercial entertainment purposes
• Any other Virtuix products or services not expressly listed in Section 2

4. How to Request Service

To request service under the Omni One Extended Warranty:

• Contact Us: Email help@virtuix.com with your request.
• Provide Proof of Purchase: Include your product serial number and extended warranty order confirmation.
• Provide Images: Submit images and a description of the issue.
• Get Support: Our team will evaluate your claim and provide guidance for repair or replacement.

Claims must be made within the warranty period.

5. After a Claim

If approved, Virtuix may, at its sole discretion:

• Repair or replace the defective component with a same, comparable, or refurbished part.
• Refund a prorated amount equal to the remaining warranty term (calculated as follows: the amount you paid for the Product, divided by the number of months of the Extended Warranty period of the Product, multiplied by the number of months remaining on the Extended Warranty period of the Product).

Additional Terms:

• Repaired or replaced parts are covered for the remainder of the Extended Warranty period or 30 days, whichever is longer.
• Virtuix covers all shipping costs for warranty service including collecting the relevant part(s).
• To the extent that the Product is capable of retaining user generated data, you should be aware that repairs may result in the loss of that data.

6. Transferability

The Extended Warranty is transferable one (1) time by the original owner. The new owner must provide proof of purchase and the original warranty order confirmation to maintain coverage. Extended Warranty plans purchased for previously-owned products cannot be transferred by subsequent owners.

7. Geographic Coverage

The Omni One Extended Warranty applies only within the continuous United States. Coverage remains valid if relocating within the U.S., provided the product is not damaged during the move. Coverage does not extend internationally.

8. Eligibility & Registration

Only the original purchaser is eligible to purchase an Omni One Extended Warranty. Users who received delivery of their Omni One less than 30 days ago may still purchase coverage. Warranty registration is automatic, and the Terms and Conditions will be emailed following the purchase of the warranty plan. Keep your receipt and confirmation email for reference.

9. Claims Limits & Deductibles

There is no deductible and no limit on the number of claims, provided that total coverage does not exceed a maximum liability of $7,000.00 USD in aggregate.

10. Effective Date

The Omni One Extended Warranty begins on the date of delivery of the Omni One or Omni One Core unit.

11. Modifications & Governing Law

Virtuix may update or revise the terms and conditions of this Extended Warranty at its discretion and without prior notice to the customer.

Any disputes regarding the Extended Warranty or the Products will be governed by the current dispute resolution procedures in Virtuix’s Terms of Use: virtuix.com/terms-of-use.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties, Limitation of Liability

The Extended Warranty is the exclusive warranty from Virtuix and supersedes prior representations.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT THAT APPLY TO ANY PRODUCTS DESCRIBED ABOVE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE PERIODS OF EXPRESS WARRANTIES GIVEN ABOVE FOR THOSE SAME PRODUCTS. VIRTUIX HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES THOSE WARRANTIES THEREAFTER, EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT PROHIBITED BY LAW. VIRTUIX ALSO HEREBY DISCLAIMS AND EXCLUDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ARISING BY LAW OR OTHERWISE, WITH RESPECT TO ANY NONCONFORMANCE OR DEFECT IN ANY PRODUCT, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: (A) ANY OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, RIGHT, CLAIM OR REMEDY IN TORT, WHETHER OR NOT ARISING FROM THE NEGLIGENCE OF VIRTUIX OR ITS SUPPLIERS (WHETHER ACTIVE, PASSIVE OR IMPUTED); AND (B) ANY OBLIGATION, LIABILITY, RIGHT, CLAIM OR REMEDY FOR LOSS OF OR DAMAGE TO ANY EQUIPMENT.

This disclaimer and release shall apply even if the express warranty set forth above fails of its essential purpose and regardless of whether damages are sought for breach of warranty, breach of contract, negligence, or strict liability in tort or under any other legal theory.

FURTHER, YOU ARE INSTRUCTED AND SHOULD BE AWARE THAT USE OF THE PRODUCTS IS ONLY PURSUANT TO THE PUBLISHED PRODUCT INSTRUCTIONS, THAT THERE ARE RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCTS, AND YOU SHOULD THEREFORE USE THE PRODUCTS AT YOUR OWN RISK. IN NO EVENT WILL VIRTUIX, ITS SERVICE PROVIDERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS EXTENDED WARRANTY OR THE PURCHASE, USE, REPAIR OR MAINTENANCE OF EQUIPMENT OR PRODUCTS, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, ECONOMIC LOSS, LOSS OF PROPERTY OR PROFITS, LOSS OF ENJOYMENT OR USE, OR OTHER CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER. VIRTUIX SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE OR INJURY INCURRED DURING, OR AS A RESULT OF, ANY REPAIR OR ATTEMPTED REPAIR OF PRODUCTS BY ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED VIRTUIX TECHNICIAN. THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS DO NOT AFFECT ANY LIABILITY WHICH CANNOT BE EXCLUDED OR LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

You agree that the above limitations of liability together with the other provisions in this Extended Warranty that limit liability are essential terms of this Extended Warranty and that Virtuix would not be willing to grant you the rights set forth in this Extended Warranty but for your agreement to the above limitations of liability; you are agreeing to these limitations of liability to induce Virtuix to grant you the rights set forth in this Extended Warranty. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This Extended Warranty provides you with specific legal rights, but you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
